I can't seem to find a thread for charts on ST1, so I wonder if it's worth starting one.

The first thing that stands out is that ST1 has almost doubled in value over the last quarter. At the beginning of the quarter - early April - news emerged of the acquisition approach from Uniti Wireless (UWL).

That marked a kind of turning point in ST1's history. Since that rejection of UWL's approach, two new acquisitions have been made, and five new levels of support have been created:



Last week's prices approached a 12-month high, and in good news for existing holders, monthly trading volumes are higher than the monthly volumes (at similar prices) last year:


Arguably ST1 is a stronger and better known company than the previous time it flirted with $0.25 (back in 2018).

Adding some moving averages to the weekly chart, the 30-day average (shown below in yellow) is now starting to rise above the 200-day moving average (shown in blue). This golden cross may be a good sign - if it can be sustained:



That leads to the next question - can ST1 keep growing? Once the annual report is in, will it have delivered a good return on investment for the 2018-19 financial year?

After all, it is up against the National Broadband Network. As reported by the Australian Financial Review, Philip Knox, the Chief Financial Officer of NBN Co, recently said:

"We [NBN Co] remain very confident in our financial forecasts and strength of our business and ability to deliver a modest commercial return of 3.2 per cent to the Commonwealth government."
