In the fortnight since my last post, ST1 hit its:

ALL. TIME. HIGH.

'Nuff said.

...well no, not really, there's more to say than just that.

For those keeping score at home, the previous all-time high was 0.28 on July 4th, 2019 (and March 5th, 2018):

It's been interesting reading older posts on a possible future merger/acquisition between ST1 and UWL. On July 24th, Spirit announced "a Memorandum of Understanding to work withOpticomm (ASX:OPC) on the NSW GIG State tender". Back in June, Uniti announced plans to acquire Opticomm (which I understand is subject to a shareholder vote by September).

It seems that if ST1 and UWL can't beat 'em (i.e each other), they might as well join 'em (i.e. each other) on the tender. According to ZDNet, the scale of the Gig State project is just a little bigger than the Horsham or Morwell projects:

"The New South Wales government has kicked off the tender process for its new AU$100 million Gig State project that aims to deliver new network infrastructure and boost internet capacity for regional communities and businesses."
