T4P just made a very good point on the CVI thread about CVI but the same applies to KAL. When you have high volumes and wide sp ranges the players are attracted to the stock deliberately pushing it up and down to suit themselves. But as the volume and swings fall away so does player interest.
Building on that thought I have concluded that this is the psychology that makes so many chart patterns actually "work" like rectangles and pennants for example. As the volume and swings diminish and the players exit a stock can then quickly return to it's real value be that up or down. Perhaps for those who think charting is all voodoo they may consider that there could actually be a little behavioral science behind it all.
KAL is very close to that breakout point now.
