Sales of infant formula are still going strong at Gilles Pains Woolworths in Adelaide. Maybe 10 tins available this morning (for stages 1 and 4 only). No tins of stages 2 and 3 in sight. Altogether, these 4 rows of shelves could probably hold 100+ tins of a2 when fully stocked.
Compared to a few weeks ago:
The shelves have fewer tins available;
The shelf labels (limiting how many tins can be bought at a time) have been removed;
Shelf prices have also gone up.
Bottom line: demand is still high, and formula is selling like hotcakes:
Maybe one day they can cross out the Vicks logo, and put in a2 logo...and while they're at it, replace 'cough & cold brand' with 'milk brand'.
That guy's nose and throat won't be glowing yellow anymore!
