The right thing to do, not the popular thing to do, is to make the call, take the tough decision, to completely scrap the stage 3 cuts and walk away from it for good..

This is the most significant and reckless use of what would otherwise be government revenue, in the last 20 years..period

If i buy a house for 700k, and 5 years later its worth 1.5M, how does that help me? I can either sell it and be forced to buy a different overvalued house, or stay put and then the new value of it is irrelevant. Sure it can help for some downsizers/seachangers, but most people need to live where they do for work/family reasons
