Gas and oil explorers always seems such a coin toss - when other minerals at least give you a progressive feel with assays, etc.

This is what makes the flare photo seem so peculiar. It seems more obscuring than revealing, when it is a rare chance to provide some sort of information, even without flow data.

Looks like a shot taken by a kid on work experience to show the other kids at school. What is the purpose of such a singulalry uninformative picture?

The other odd thing is the failure to take the opportunity to maximise the chance to properly inform oppie holders adequately in time to make their decision.

Wouldn't they have considered not changing the rig, just to save a bob, when the timing is so critical and so many oppie holders are obviously hanging on by the skin of their teeth?

While you at least still have the chance of a big result, there seems a singular absence of comfort to be gained from the company's behaviour, or reliable facts to base a judgment on.
