the below post is my opinion;
some ideas for telstra;
nfc applications including telstra mobile wallet credit facility.
maintstream banking, finance and insurance product sales and bundling with telecommunication services.
shareholder discount plan - if you are a share-holder then you get a 5% discount off monthly bills - hopefully get loyalty from the 1.4 million telstra shareholders - worked well for coles for many years - until they decided upon lowest cost best value policy for everyone strategy.
a reward scheme for bundling of telstra and affiliated goods and services.
sell of loose assets - I think telstra lost copyright judgement regarding directories business- maybe now is the time to offload directories / sensis - afterall I suppose the NBN /gov will take back the issuing of phone numbers again now.
hopefully the labor government gets pushed from power and telstra shareholders will get shares in a network company and a retail company - that would be the best outcom,e of them all in my opinion.
I hold telstra shares and hope that they go up.
