IMO tls reached a position in their negotiations over the NBN, that tls would not take advantage of their strong financial position and would not rock the boat by competing in the financial sector. Remember that tls were stretched across the rack at this time.
Looks like commercial coercion into the private sector and preventing companies operating to their full potential.
Sorry my thumbs-up do not appear, there is obviously a strong lobby involved in this forum who do not want to see tls diversify and just want tls to plod along with a crutch.
The sooner the coalition can put things straight the better IMO.
