Hi all, I am not a holder and have no sentiment. A work colleague of mine has been acting a bit strange at work lately. I pulled him aside and asked are you O.k, The response follows. He has a twitter account, we will use Txxxxn as his nickname. He has repetitively been recieving nasty, vile and intimidating messages from someone who has accused him of getting on hotcopper and down ramping posiedon. He has not responded and does not intend to. He is terrified and unable to sleep as he is a kind, gentle natured person who doesn't know how to defend himself. I am 99% certain i have identified this person and will be gathering up all the information i can and printing everything to hand to the police who we have spoken to already. They said minimum, this is online stalking and intimidation. The offending person needs to understand that what happens on hotcopper shpuld stay in hotcopper. Every nickname on hot copper is exclusive to each individual on hotcopper, Mine is bones01, but on twitter it has been used by someome else so i have a different nickname there, so i do understand this persons mistake. If the offending person reads this please be advised, I'm going to take this as far as i can, Including getting all the information to hotcoppers administrators. I will request you be banned. I am not open to any discussion on this matter until it has been dealt with accordingly. You have brought Hotcoppers name into disrepute by your offensive behavior. I was so shocked to read your posts to him and was gobsmacked by it all. i was really embarrassed when i told him i am a member. If you took the time to read this, Thank You.

I'm not surprised by this, I have personally had an MD of a company call me directly after I've posted something fairly innocuous on HC advising me to remove my post or he'd take legal action. I found it concerning how quickly the MD was able to get in touch with me (I'd never even spoken to him) and that he was spending time responding to me directly in regards to an HC post.
