yes that was a very telling omission by the new premier. the new boy seems to be feeling his way I'd imagine.

I don't have any high expectations of Minns, but its telling too that the Libs retained a sizeable number of seats albeit with a large %age increase in the x-bench. with Minns not holding a majority there's room here for a takeover.

I've been a republican, or at least anti-monarchist, since I was 6 or 7.... probably brainwashed by my old Pop who was Labour through and through.

rain falls on everyone. its the most democratic, egalitarian event in our lives. it effects each equally. and theres no wheat with our rain. we need rain for all manner of growth. the coronation proved however that no matter how hard it rains, theres always one person who reigns supreme and yet never gets wet.

this is my big objection to monarchy.
