This is a question I've asked before! What I would most like to happen is for sto to have a scrip bid of around 3 to 1. That we get sto shares and no capital gains tax till we sell the sto shares I think. Considering the amount of cash and debt facilities sto has a scrip bid like that is probably not realistic. I'm happy for ESG to go it alone (with an offtake partner), also there are big opportunities for esg to supply more gas domestically.
