Hi Westcott,
Thanks for that.
Personally (always IMO ) I'm of the view, as stated, that StanBank is to serve as the "organizer" entity, with its contacts and business arrangements worldwide, to try and procure funding - and on the basis that if they succeed in procuring funding at their (Stanbank's) initiative, Stanbank is prepared to "underwrite" those that have been approved and accepted by StanBank as suitable Lenders. The point I'm making is that StanBank should not be seen as someone who has given an undertaking to fund (whether for debt or equity) the project.
Out of all the longterm investors on here, if SDL (ala GC or Alan Rule) needed to be crystal clear and unequivocal in their responses as to the current state of play when questioned at this point in time, it would have to be you. Much appreciation for your effort in anticipation. You need not stand back or accept any crap from this current board. If, for one moment you believe that these guys are not "fair dinkum" in their responses, I'd venture to say that they are (or some of them) are playing their last card (which is not a trump card). Many of us, and more so you, have endured enough of this "mushroom treatment" and if GC choose to continue in this vein, serious thought should be given as to the prospects of ousting some elements. Time is simply not on our side anymore.
