My recommendation for what its worth would be not to rush or feel that you have to do something quickly, do your research and feel comfortable before you act (many of us here have done 5 years due diligence).
IMHO a negative court decision will have no impact on the sp as that result is already factored into the sp. The only way a negative outcome will affect NXS sp is if they have not sold assets / dont hold the cash and have to conduct a share placement. From what has been announced the Board appear to have 6-12 months to sell down assets in order to meet any Transocean payment and that assumes a worst case scenario.
Hypothetically if NXS sold 5% Crux for $100m & 50% LT for $65m which are hardly demanding values(+ $12m prepayments adjust & tfr of environmental provisions), NXS proforma would hold $50m cash against worst case $65m Transocean, debt free, 10% Crux $200m (+ Auriga / Caelum upside), 50% LT $75m (+ development/ exploration upside funded at JV level), high risk /reward Echuca Shoals. Market values this at $100m?????????
Just as the market is whacking NXS now, it would only take those 2 transactions which IMHO are very achievable to totally reverse the current sentiment - 20c firm value with upside.
