1054 [Dow Jones] EARNINGS WATCH:Multiplex (MXG.AU) down 9 cents at A$3.18
after earlier falling to A$3.05, following FY05 results disclosing a further
A$8.6 million loss on Wembley stadium project and overall construction division
loss of A$62 million. With group operating as stapled property trust and
construction/development/management company, result is quite complex and
difficult to compare against both last year and expectations, probably
explaining recovery from early fall as early fog lifts. Construction aside,
other units appear performing well as group net profit up 72% to A$83.8 million.
