I wonder what kind of risk/reward analysis a SI like Hayaat does before they spunk up $4m / 23c .

We have a 90% + chance of doubling our investment within one year
We have a 70% + chance of trading out at $1 ( 400 % )within 18 months
We have a 60 % + chance of trading out at $2 ( 800% ) within 36 months

It would be interesting to know what returns they desire.

I did some work here for a Hong Kong based fund that bought property here in Cambodia. 4 villas for a combined $4m outlay. I thought they were mad at the time and then their represenative flew out for 24 hours to inspect the properties. turns out they have properties in every corner of the world and the fund is $1billion. "we will just bottom drawer these for 20 years"
