I don't think they are fools. Keeping something as complex as a tec metal start up moving at pace would be an incredibly difficult task. You can't expect a small group with a technical background to have all the needed skills and they don't have the funds to bring in a mover and shaker. They will probably get there - but they don't look they will be first in or best dressed.
