RDR undertook 26,000m of drilling at Barrambie in May and completed it in July. A total of 364 holes were drilled and 16,000 samples were assayed. Half of the results were released on the 6th of November and the rest were announced today.
Results for all intercepts above .5% V2O5 from the final 184 holes have been properly tabled for all to see.
Snowdens is undertaking a new mineral resource estimate, which is due in late January 2009.
Compare this to YRR drilling 57 holes for 3750m at Gabanintha last March. Results were expected in 6-8 weeks with a resource statement 4 weeks later. Then on 19th of May YRR said that they had received results for 25 of the 57 holes and would report a new mineral resource to the market once all assay results were received. Still waiting nearly 7 months later and haven't had any results tabled, in fact not even for the last drilling program in July 2007.
