There are one or two US billionaires who have escaped to the South Island. But what intrigues me is the potential of Japan. I've checked it out. There are 430 inhabited islands and 7-8 with sizeable populations. Netlinkz is unlikely to go into much detail as this deal is non-exclusive, but "non-material" background should be fine. The big question is how much staff and advertising dollars it throws at these markets, in what priority and when. . The other interesting thing is that part of the funds from the equity raising is going to buying out the remaining 20% of iLInkall it doesn't own. That would give Netlinkz a more direct relationship with some of the big companies the joint venture is servicing - one being the largest retailer in China. I heard some time ago that iSofstone was conflicted as one of its major clients was Alibaba which prevented it working with competitors like JD.com and Pinduoduo so that may be why they would sell.
