4Tryout4 this is question we all want answered, but it seems to be complicated by whether the order is just half a dozen, 50 or jumps to several hundred when the trial is finished and whether the high margin software goes with each one or just some. I've made a few calls this morning but with no result so far. The key people all seem to be flat out.

One impression I have is that some of the global heavy weights in shipping, logistic and organizational comms are chasing Netlinkz rather than the other way around. One re-seller mentioned in hurried conversation was a name was new to me, but apparently a large, well known joint venture company of two of Europe's largest defence, satellite and avionics majors. There seem to be 7-8 of these quite substantial comms service companies who want to be part of the action, but struggled to get on board with Space X early on. Space X is also moving so fast it refers some enquiries to Netlinkz.

One interesting concept being considered as a business with high potential leverage is the use of the larger, powerful terminal for group or community broadcasting. This came out of the Norfolk Island installation. It was so well received the local IT specialist thought it might be possible to offer a broadcast internet for a few dozen smaller businesses in the town. It makes sense. The WiFi can be boosted and the cost of dish and monthly fee can be defrayed across 5-10 or more businesses. For a small extra charge they could all have top grade internet security. There is similar trial underway or about to be underway in northern NSW. This is far from new. Charles Sturt Uni has been offering classes via satellite for many years, but not with Low-Earth-Orbit satellite.

If this develops into a simple to deploy "use-case" there is no shortage of remote or semi-remote communities both here and across the world. What applies to an out of town retirement village, district hospital or semi-remote high-school would apply across the expanding Netlinkz sales territory. ie everywhere Starlink has "landing rights."

I'll keep working on your question: we all want to know the answer/s.
