Do you really think the gloves will come off when they have seen others locked up for years for using the wrong words? Locked up where the religion of peace is waiting for them to either bow down or pay the price for non compliance.
There's no safety in numbers anymore now that they can identify anyone and rip them out of their home at 5am for a guaranteed high speed trip to jail.
They could also give the R of P immunity and police protection to do whatever they want to quell any unrest. The MSM would frame that as required.
