So the price has in real terms been held for 20 months given ADT’s progress can’t understand why. Looking at London there has been 121 RNS from Oct 21 to today all being “Notification of holdings” stating ‘Swaps’ . 70% are issued by UBS and 30% by G.Sachs. This leads me to think there is a Long/Short player involved namely HELIKON as they have increased their holding from 22,485,626 in 21 to 54,507,524 shares today yet the share price does not reflect the purchase of 32 mill shares. There isn’t so many posters here possibly due to relative share stagnation hmmmm. Not sure if it is relevant but shorting regs in Europe are governed by ESMA similar to UK (FCA) eg where positions exceeding 0.2% of issued must be disclosed to regulators and 0.5% publicly disclosed. Here positions over $100,000 must be reported although I am not sure margins are not exceeded here.ASICS in common with the others probably don’t bother with such things.
This practice must be really frustrating for P.C. Or any other CEO trying to buil a company. If adt was a leaky bucket when a major shareholder calls it would be really worrying. Thankfully they of course have Long fund which will need to benefit at some stage.
Given this is in my opinion I am always happy to be corrected however the facts are the facts.
