Rivermore ,
I know that the Spanish project is conventional .
The main stream media term "shale revolution" is misleading because it is not restricted to shale or even tight rocks .
Perhaps it would be more accurate , particularly in Europe and Australia where there has been limited onshore E&P (with the exception of Australian CSG) talking about an onshore E&P revolution .
I like the term Oilex use to describe themselves "a technology transfer company" .
My point is that Martin Schuepbach was one of the first out of the blocks in Europe for this sort of technology transfer along with :-
- BNK Petroleum (ASX:BKX)
- Toreador taken over by Zaza
- Realm since taken over by San Leon
- 3Legs Resources
- Canadian company Vermillion
- Elixir Petroleum which unfortunately chose the wrong country
Reprocessing logs to discover bypassed pay , using underbalanced drilling and less invasive muds , hydraulic fracturing and directional drilling are all examples applying advancements in technology .
As the old oilmen used to say , the best place to find oil is where it's already been found .
What percentage do you think Schuepbach/Petrel will insist on retaining for a farm in ? Reckon they will retain operatorship ?
Is the farm in just due to finances or a to get a major in who can cut through the red and green tape and provide drilling expertise ?
