once i placed a ban on myself for gambling in shares. that means no absolute speculative stocks whatsoever
even now i rarely gamble on shares & still generally follow the get-in-early-get-free-carried principle
in sport, i find gambling annoying
the only sport i watch is professional surfing & there are two regular Australian commentators (ex-pros, each won 4 contests) that are always talking about placing bets, promoting certain betting agencies, talking odds, etc
i have lodged complaints about these two (one a Billabong commentator & the other a Quiksilver) but to no avail
