Depends - sometimes the mom and pop shareholders read the prices later and take fright and tomorrow on open there is clearly an overhang. In another scenario the ASX can issue a please explain and before open tomorrow they can say the sell-off was nothing to do with current events. Then it may stop the panic and all will be good and the sales dont occur.
My view ( crystal ball stuff) is that it may stabilise itself tomorrow but to see a meaningful rally may take a week or two.
