In 2011 the German Federal State of Saxony provided PRR an investment grant of EUR 4.1 million.
Yesterday they announced an additional grant of EUR 3.8 million.
Unlike the Australian Government R&D grants, they are under no obligation to provide those funds. They decided to do so on the basis of their assessment of the merits of the Cvac product and potential (both financial and humanitarian).
To paraphrase: Ask yourself what the German Federal State of Saxony knows, that you don't?
