Adams was a guy who loved to debate and as the President of the Senate he was excluded from debates...not happy, Jan..Also, GW excluded him from cabinet meetings and stifled his voice and again it was a well know bone of contention and he felt aggrieved at this

No wonder he voiced his view as he did
