I take it you mean, 'wouldn't the price be rising if it were to be a take over?'
If yes, that would be my 'normal' thought pattern too however I've been looking at the trading activity today with interest & I've noticed the following;
Despite the quick rise in the SP in early trade (first hour which can be deceptive) to a day-high of 2.74 the SP has really struggled to get past 2.72
Just seems to me that someone/thing doesn't really want the SP running with any real momentum past this price. If it shows any real threat of taking out 2.72 it's quickly 'beaten' back down to 2.71 - 2.70!
Maybe I'm 'jumping at shadows' but I reckon it's worth keeping an eye on in the near term?
