Reading through the 'Production Targets' announcement released to market this afternoon/evening I'm impressed at the size of the Lihir Island gold deposit - 29M ounce reserve!
And to add another string to the LGL bow, production at the West African Bonikro Mine appears likely to double by 2012 to 250K ounces per year.
The Lihir Island project alone should really place LGL in the sights of one of the industry behemeth's? That's a MASSIVE gold reserve - 29 Million ounces!!!
