A propos of Marland & O'Hare, I was thinking more of the CorpTEL experience - which I think you’d agree was an unambiguous success for its investors.
Dynofish also makes a good point that Melbourne establishment people are now putting their names behind this vehicle. As he observes: “Barry Hamilton is a very experienced Finance guy and public company director and I think is extremely well connected via Lloyd Williams and Ron Walker.”
Ryan O’Hare’s connections should not be dismissed lightly either. I think the coverage the People/Swiftel deal received in the financial press over the weekend of its announcement was telling in this regard, and I have no doubt that an entourage setting out to sell the deal which includes Mssrs O’Hare, Hamilton and, yes, Marland, will at the least be given a fair hearing by the broking fraternity.
