The "I dont trust them" comment comes back to the difference in reported customers by People Telecom. One ASX ann said 12 000, the next 16 000 ( a month later) now 10 000.
When Colin Marland was questioned on the forum to clear up exactly how many customers there were, he said that those figures that were published in ASX announcements were not "official figures". Revenue figures also differ dramtacially depending on what you read and where.
The forum was edited and finally stopped when the questions got a bit too hard. Some of the posts by myself and others wanting clarification of the figures disappeared.
Likewise the revenue forecast looks to me and others very stretched based on the actual figures to date.
Having faith in the directors i think is one of the key factors in deciding whether to hold. I took a moderate loss in ASC, i know lots of people who lost money with ONETEL, VNA, DVT and others. But I do hold SWT as even giving it a risk discount of around 30% its still undervalued at current levels and I expect the roadshow to give it a lift as well.
