........ the boxcut mining contractor Works Infrastructure (a subsidiary of Downer) has mobilised to site to begin work.

The Jaguar development involves the construction of a decline over an 18 month period to access the high-grade underground orebody, which has a reserve of 1.6 million tonnes at 11.3% zinc, 3.07% copper, 0.72% lead and 120 grams per tonne of silver for 187,865t of zinc and 49,209t of copper.

The project is forecast to produce 20,000-25,000tpa of zinc in concentrate, 8000-10,000tpa of copper in concentrate, and 800,000ozpa of silver in concentrate over a 5-year mine life, based on a milling rate of 365,000tpa.
