    I was going to use coinspot.com.au to buy coins with aud but struggled to get my account verified as my drivers licence is a little scratched and they would not accept it.
    The verification process is quite stringent, which is fine as long as you have everything in line. If not, it can be frustrating. Or just get a new drivers license haha.

    I ended up setting up an account on Bitfinex to trade and hold my coins (for now) A mate purchased the bitcoins for me and sent them to my account. Bitfinex only deals in usd or other cryptos. Anywhere that deals with aud to purchase coins will have the same verification processes.

    There is a company in Facebook that's helping people buy cryptos with aud aswell. Mg investments I think they were called.
