re: valuation of smm: a174 mill offered I have been in touch with SMM on a few occasions as I wanted Govt action now rather than waiting for the Qland issue to be resolved in good time as companies involved in fire sales to overseas companies would be hit before any successful outcome.
SMM's attitude has differed and I have once again contacted them and pointed out the risk to SMM.
It is possible that SMM could make a counter offer to VUL while prices are low.
