Thanks Watchfulbull. Just viewed it. He’s very much focussed on the demand side of the copper equation (not the mining) but his arguments are persuasive and relevant. The only disagreement can be about the pace of electrification; not the inevitability of it.

One caveat is that copper bulls like Gianni have been predicting sky high copper prices for about a decade - and have been wrong over that entire period. I was a long term Avanco (AVB) holder and watched the gradual copper price decline with amazement.

I recall reading once that predictions about technological change often tend to overestimate the speed of adoption but also underestimate the eventual extent of it. I think that’s the case today and that the current increase is the (still early) stage of a secular change.

p.s. I hold SVY and Inca (ICG) and plan to buy more of both.
p.p.s. I disagreed with him a bit about Scandium. There is no market for it yet. I happen to know that Lynas has plenty of it and they don’t even bother to extract it from their concentrate, disposing of it as waste.
