Merchant Banker Joins Board of Lakes Oil N.L.
Well known Melbourne merchant banker, Barney Berold, has been appointed to the board of Lakes Oil N.L. (ASX listing code "LKO").
Mr Berold provides corporate advice covering strategy, mergers, acquisitions, and capital raisings to listed and unlisted companies. He is a former stock broker, and served on the boards of both the Stock Exchange of Melbourne as well as the Australian Stock Exchange. He is currently employed in Melbourne by a major European-based international investment bank.
With an important drilling/fracturing programme ahead of us as we move towards production in onshore Gippsland Basin, we believe he will add a considerable amount of invaluable experience and financial knowledge to our team.
We welcome Mr. Berold on to the board and look forward to his active involvement with Lakes Oil.
