I was reading an article in a magazine yesterday where there was an interview with a bloke who came to Australia from Sudan and has made a successful life for himself here. Good on him.
What I took offence to was he was telling us where we are wrong and what we should do to correct the situation.
Bloody hell, he comes from one of the truly screwed up countries of the world and he is telling us what we should do, with all his 10 minutes of experience, in a country in which everyone wants to live.
My family came here in 1788 as first fleet convicts, along with many others, and built the place up to be one of the most desirable places to live on earth. It was not done using a socialist system.
Sorry about the rant but fair dinkum, the place is in serious decline now.
