State Govt's incompetence resulting in illogical hatred of the Defence force

Lets clear something up for everyone.

Disaster Management and Disaster Recovery falls squarely with the State Governments and their respective LGA's

In the case of the floods, the NSW & QLD state government are failing the people and the defence force.

Both of these links provide what is suppose to be the framework for Disaster Management within NSW & QLD.

In short the Disaster Management - resourcing and recovery is to be state management/co-ordinated but delivered by each respective LGA.

But instead the incompetence of state government leadership is on display once again - whilst the fingers are being pointed at the army




This is a sitting member of the NSW government pointing the finger at the defence force, when it is her and her governments abdication of responsibility in the time of a crisis that is causing the distress of citizens that have been flooded. It is her government that is responsible for the rescue and recovery. It is her government that is responsible for correct funding and resourcing of each LGA to ensure they can effectively undertake recovery. Not the defence force.

Time to hold these incompetent politicians to account.
