Mal, what are you thinking?? Are you unwilling to admit you chose the wrong bloke when 70% of Queenslander's know he is not up to it. How many series will we have to lose before he ever comes up to speed or alternatively the selectors wake up.
Talk of experience making him a better player is not good enough. It would take fifty years of making blunders for him to gain enough experience to be even a reasonable Origin player.
The series is lost, so give Taylor a go and see if he can handle the job.
That way at least we will have a chance next year.
Also, get a kicker who can kick from the sideline and give them all the instruction and practice that they need.
