My take was that goal line defence by NSW was all that saved them by losing by many more points. If it wasn't as good as it was the field goal attempts wouldn't have happened. Qld were very unlucky IMO with the slater disallowed try, and they could have scored at least 2 more if not for great defence. Blues forwards proved worthy for game 2, although if Gallen is back then Fiffita will probably be dropped. Farrah as suspected couldn't rally the troops when required so Gallen is needed.
Blues halves won't beat Qld halves so for NSW it's all about go forward and wearing down the seniors.
Wash up IMO is if Qld was going to lose one it was going to be game 1. So Qld 3 zip.
