Cluff's diamond project is at Copeton, not far from the Copeton Dam just outside of Inverell (60km west of Glen Innes), NSW. Inverell being a large producer of gemstones (sapphires), Diamonds obviously at Copeton and diamonds are also recovered not far from Bingara (not sure whom operates this site). Bingara is also a large gold area.
I am a Cluff holder and also a keen fossicker. There is a public fossicking area for diamonds on the way to Copeton Dam. Spent a day fossicking there, no diamonds, got a few nice facetable pieces of topaz and a few other stones. Also found some small sapphires just north of Inverell.
I have a property at inverell and there might be a chance we could be back there over easter, if so, I will drop into the cluff site. I havn't been there before, so not sure what to expect.
