The key to successful investing is to identify valuable assets, buy them when you judge they are mispriced and under-appreciated by the market and then hold pending a market repricing to full value. In the current market the 2 oil/gas plays that IMO are/were the most underappreciated and undervalued (of the stocks I'm aware of) are/were CVN and WGO - WGO has now come into play (as a takeover target) and IMO the same may happen to CVN. If it doesn't, well I'm happy to hold pending development of Dorado.
IMO there are not many opportunities to purchase assets of CVN's quality - proven oil and gas resources, excellent prospectivity, clear path to development with big brother STO, safe jurisdiction etc at anywhere near the bargain basement price you can currently purchase CVN for.
