We've started down the biodiesel path now, it may be greenwashing, but with everything else treading water we may as well see if it'll work out. Companies will pay more for 'green' alternatives as the shareholders and public, at least the ones screaming the loudest, demand it. This just may make it a reasonable side track to get some nearer term income. Imagine that... income. Let that word sink in, when was the last time we had income from anything other than interest on cash in the bank?
