Norsc,
I agree with you. Someone will now have a big chuckle at what happened with this SoA, ...and to our BOD and Management..., which failed dismally to get the shareholders to follow and do what they have recommended to us, NOT once, but SEVERAL times, that we should vote for. That, while IMO, it will not look very good for their future CV's.
Now, while this chuckle will go on by many of the Gas and Oilers out there, I wonder if not someone else will start thinking that the time is near for them to throw the towel into the ring and do something about it themselves.
Don't forget that, with the new regulation coming into place now by the Government whereby enough gas has to be left in Australia for domestic use, some of the LNG producers which are already contracted to export, will be looking for all the gas they can get so that they can continue to fill their contracting obligations and fulfil their obligations towards the Government requests..................
With that in mind, IMHO Santos will quickly come to mind, let alone a few others.
In the meantime, I feel quite sure that our current BOD will be burning a few candles wondering as to what they will have to do next..............Most probably not in regard to their positions, but as to how to turn the CTP boat around and start making their shareholders (THEIR BOSSES) happier.
From here on, I would go as far as saying a very famous phrase...........................Be ready and willing to "EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED". Mark my words and save my post mate.
In the meantime the giggling from the outside will continue. As to whom the giggling is directed to, well it is anyone's opinions here.
