A financial journo I know from school told me over beers that if Victoria had to fend for itself ( rather than live off the back of WA's resources ), it would struggle to achieve a GNP/capita similar to Thailand.
And Canberra, producing almost nothing of value, would be a starving basket-case on par with Somalia.
Dan Andrews, his fans and also rans, can indulge in all their public circle-jerking because they live off the backs of our resources sector.
They demonise productive people in order to 'justify' looting them - that's the true purpose of all their deranged jabber and sloganeering, given media saturation by fellow parasites.
