Diligent, The Spectator is well known as a mouthpiece for the conservative side of British politics and the line taken by Murdoch mouthpieces is well known. Indeed, oh-so-predictably today Andrew Bolt's column was devoted to promoting Tony Abbott's London speech.

IMO that's known by many people as 'preaching to the converted'.
