I wonder if in Troy, as the Trojan horse was pulled through the gates of Troy filled with enemy Greek warriors waiting inside the Trojan Horse to attack Troy from within, that there were those foresighted and intelligent people like Tony Abbott warning of the dangers of rashly bringing an object from the enemy Greeks within their walls, and there were also lapdog-like "spokesmen" endlessly parroting on, even quoting other like-minded slow-witted stooges as if it meant something other than group-think, about what a wonderful gift the Greek enemies had left for them and how quickly the Trojans should pull the beautiful Trojan horse inside the gates of Troy before the gift-giving-Greeks enemies changed their minds and took back their gift...
