The HR is not a correlation like the P-Value...And never stated as such as inferred by SthOz....and now you!
The Pearson's correlation, the P-value using the 95% CI and is not as powerful as the using the p-value in a 99%CI...
The Hazard ratio is the % reduction of the risk of dying at any point in time in the study....(limit 5 years) Cheers
