As the US falls everything we buys its dollars with will increase and short of the USD trading at Peso levels will will be better off.
Oil prices and commoditiy prices will still rise even if demand falls even significantly the weakening US dollar will mean all USD based commodities will increase.

Commodities are the only thing the US investment banks have left to make money on and they are speculating like crazy because treasuries don't keep up with inflation and as they devalue the dollar more and more and push up inflation more and more more money will flow into tangible assets.
