NSW its too early to tell since there are more than 6500 active cases (i.e. they have not either died or overcome it.).

Either way, how is that the same as influenza? Vic had about 140 odd deaths that 2019 year out of about 70,000 confirmed cases. Thats slightly lower than the national average.

And who ever said flu was eradicated in 2020? That is ridiculous. I'm guessing that maybe it was reported as significantly reduced and the mainstream media threw up some "Flu Eradicated!" headlines.
