Well I've been with Telstra/Bigpond for years and years and they've been very good including two house moves! Telstra is a little more expensive than others but I really can't recall any faults I've had with my Telstra internet access.
I'm sure there are many people with horror stories about Telstra but I've also heard just as many horror stories about others.
